Amazon E-commerce Service.
The Amazon E-commerce Service, (ECS), is a web service that
enables developers to access Amazon's data and functionality. ECS
provides much of the functionality seen on Amazons own web site and can
be used to build applications and e-commerce web sites. As ECS
developers, JRAH can assist you in using ECS to meet your Amazon systems
integration requirements.
Amazon Web Services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) enable companies to buy computing power and storage
from Amazon.
AWS provide an extremely flexible and cost effective means of
purchasing computing power and storage. We currently use AWS to provide our off
site backup solutions and are in the process of building a number of
applications that use their SimpleDB database solution.
The Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) enables companies to 'rent' virtual
servers in the Amazon cloud. This provides a cheap, convenient and robust way to
manage your IT infastructure. Servers can be built to run a number of
different operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and all the
most populate versions of Linux.
